PLACING ORDERS
Orders can be placed via email at info@southernskyhome.com.
ORDER INQUIRIES
For questions or other inquiries, please email customer service at info@southernskyhome.com. Orders written as HFC (Hold for Confirmation) will remain valid for 90 days unless a future ship date is specified. HFCs are entered as quotes and will be cancelled without notification in 90 days.
PRICING
Southern Sky Home sells to the wholesale trade. By placing an order with us, you are stating that you are an owner or representative of a valid retail business and that you are making wholesale tax exempt purchases for retail. All customers regardless of type must open with a $2500 order; minimum reorder is $500. A $10 under minimum fee will be added to orders that do not reach the $500 minimum.All pricing is determined by the qualification of the customer. Our warehouse prices are F.O.B. Lexington, NC and subject to change without notice.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
We have two levels for which you may qualify based on your annual volume.
NON-STOCKING DEALER
Non-Stocking Dealer pricing is available to customers (retailer/designers) with annualized shipments of less than $25,000, as well as customers (retailer /designers) with one-time project orders. Items ordered must be in stock in our Lexington, NC warehouse and will ship immediately. Orders must be shipped to a warehouse or store. These accounts require that a method of payment is maintained on file to open the account. When opening an account, a credit card must be put on file unless credit terms are approved. Minimum reorders are $500.
STOCKING DEALER PRICE
The opening order is minimum $2500 for this pricing. Orders must be shipped to a warehouse or store. To achieve or renew your stocking dealer status, $25,000 of product must be shipped annually. Terms apply with approved credit.Minimum reorders are $500.
TERMS
FIRST TIME ORDERS
All first orders are generally paid via credit card unless the customer has approved credit. Orders must have the account name, billing address and ship to address clearly shown. Credit cards are charged at the time of shipment. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. No COD shipments are accepted. Checks received for payment on new accounts must clear the bank before we will release the shipment. Credit Terms are available to established customers with approved credit rating. Credit Terms are not available to buyers outside the United States.
APPROVED CREDIT
Payments are due 15 days after the invoice date (the date the goods leave the Southern Sky Warehouse) and cannot be paid by credit card. Once payment terms have been arranged, orders will be prepared for shipping. Cancellations after this point will be subject to a 10% restocking fee. All returned checks (NSF) or stopped payment are subject to a $20. fee. A 1.5% monthly finance charge will apply to all past due accounts. All associated fees for past due accounts sent to Collections are the responsibility of the customer.
CREDIT CARD
Orders are shipped Prepay, VISA/MC/AMEX. These accounts require that a method of payment is maintained on file to open the account. When opening an account, a credit card must be put on fileand maintained unless credit is approved.
CONTAINERS
Container shipments require a 25% deposit and the balance due FOB country of origin.
ORDER PROCESSING

Orders must have the account name, billing address and ship to address clearly shown. Credit cards are charged at the time of shipment. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. No COD shipments are accepted. Southern Sky Home ships FOB from our Hickory, North Carolina warehouse. Most customers have contracts with carriers. If you need assistance we have several carriers that we use and can provide rates.
DAMAGES & SHORTAGES
Southern Sky carefully inspects each order before shipping with every effort made to ensure it arrives in the best possible condition. All shipments should be inspected immediately on arrival with all exceptions noted on the delivery receipt at time of delivery by the carrier. All claims for damage and or shortage must be made within 48 hours of receipt of the merchandise with the freight carrier. Digital photographs of damaged goods and boxes will be required for replacement of damaged goods. Save all damaged cartons until any claim with the carrier is settled
BACKORDERS
Every effort is made to ship orders quickly and as completely as possible, but, on occasion, items will be backordered based on availability. As such items become in stock, we will ship without notice.WE DO NOT HOLD ITEMS TO WAIT FOR BACKORDERS BEYOND 30 DAYS
LIMITED WARRANTY
Southern Sky Home warrants its products for one year from date of sale against defects in materials and workmanship.In the event of a defect, malfunction, or failure to conform to this warranty Southern Sky Home will repair, replace or issue a product credit at its discretion for its’ product without charge. We do not warrant against the existence of inherent characteristics or properties of materials used in the manufacturing of our products, which may have uneven, small cracking or coarse finishes. Southern Sky Home does not warrant against or repair variations in wood tone, imperfections in glass, damage caused by moisture or lack of moisture, damaged caused by misuse, mishandling, improper maintenance, or improper storage.
